Melissa Blasek

Voice, Guitar, Piano

Melissa Blasek is a New Hampshire native and professional musician and vocalist. She has been performing professionally since she was fourteen years old and is a regular in the New England music scene. She has performed at the Acton Jazz Café, CR Sparks, XO On Elm, The Palace Theatre, The Yard, The Firehouse, Hermanos, The Lebanon Opera House, The Barre Opera House, as well as countless other venues and private events. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music where she received a scholarship and studied with Livingston Taylor, David Scott, and Donna McElroy, among others. Melissa has recorded with Grammy award winning engineer and producer, Tom Carr, and sung for recording projects in all genres- from hip hop to jazz to country to Christian rock.

Melissa can be seen with her piano/voice duo act, performing a variety of pop and jazz standards. She is available for performances and studio work in the New England area. Melissa can also been seen on the local access television show “Play On”, where she interviews musicians and music business professionals.

Melissa currently teaches private voice, guitar, and piano lessons. She believes in teaching traditional technique through the use of contemporary music. She has developed a contemporary vocal curriculum supplement that reinforces tradition vocal technique through the use of pop, rock, r&b, and country music. With certification from Success Music School, Melissa specializes in multi-sensory approaches to teaching music notation, guitar, and piano techniques for visual-spatial learners. John Chouinard

Guitar, Banjo

John is an experienced professional with a wide range of musical background in both education and performance. In addition to teaching guitar privately for the past forty years he also he teaches banjo, bluegrass 5 string, mandolin and Upright bass. John is a certified apple product professional and midi specialist.

Roy D'Innocenzo

Guitar, Bass

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Music Education from Northeastern University. He has over 25 years of teaching experience in guitar, theory, solfeggio and music fundamentals. He has been performing for 35 years, playing a variety of styles including 50's Rock and Roll, Dixieland and Big Bands.

Jeff Gottwald

Guitar, Bass

Jeff received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Music Education from the Pennsylvania State University; his major instrument of study was guitar. He has taught guitar, as well as elementary and middle school band for more than sixteen years in the public schools and is a certified music teacher in the state of New Hampshire. Jeff has studied guitar with George Allen and Miguel Abloniz at Ithaca School of Music in New York. Performance includes professional rock and jazz bands playing lead and rhythm guitar. Jeff developed and implemented guitar classes at the middle school level to introduce the guitar to all students. In addition, he has taught guitar privately throughout his professional career.

Adam Terrell

Guitar

Adam was a performance major at the Berklee College of Music studying advanced harmony with an emphasis on ensemble performance. He has been playing guitar for 28 years and has 15+ years of teaching experience.

Adam is a founding member and lead guitarist of the national touring act Assembly of Dust as well as lead guitarist for the rock band Ghosts Of Jupiter. Over the years he has recorded and performed with many musicians including Grace Potter, Dicky Betts, Edie Brickell, Bela Fleck, Derek Trucks, Victor Wooten, John Scofield, Ritchie Havens and Steve Kimock, as well as members of Phish and moe.

Adam teaches many topics including technique, sight reading, scales, music theory and ear training as well as your favorite songs.

Nathan Therrien

Bass, Double Bass

Acoustic and electric bassist Nathan Therrien is a New Hampshire native and active freelance musician in and around New England. Nathan earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and his Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where he studied with Charlie Banacos, John Lockwood, Oscar Stagnaro, Cecil Mcbee and Jerry Bergonzi. Nathan has performed in concerts and radio appearances domestically and abroad playing at such venues as Boston Symphony Hall and the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. He has been fortunate to have shared the stage with Jazz greats Clark Terry, James Williams, Rufus Reid, Branford Marsalis, Sam Rivers and James Moody. Matt Fisher

Guitar

Matt Fisher has been a professional musician for over 10 years. Matt is a graduate of Stonehill College, and has studied guitar at Berklee College of Music as well. He has performed rock, pop, and blues music throughout New England and has toured the United States extensively. Matt uses his knowledge and experience to teach his students the necessary fundamentals of the guitar, instill an appreciation for all music, and focuses his lessons to each individuals musical needs and desires.
