String Instructors

Richard Bieniek

Violin, Viola, Cello

Mr. Bieniek taught for fourteen years in the Manchester Public Schools and during that time served as the head of the String Dept., conductor of the city-wide Orchestra and director of the Southside Jr. High Band. Richard was a member and former concertmaster if the N H Philharmonic and study with Joseph McGauley of the Boston Symphony. Currently, Richard also teaches at his music studio in Durham, NH and at the Westford Suzuki School in Westford, MA. Mr. Bieniek is the conductor of the Great Bay Chamber Orchestra.

Joseph Kabat

Violin, Viola

Joseph has studied Violin and Viola for over twenty-five years. His experience is with Opera and Chamber Orchestras in Transylvania and Italy. He has been a private music instructor for fifteen years. Joseph is a member of the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra and the New England Chamber Orchestra.

Nathan Therrien

Bass, Double Bass

Nate is an experienced professional with a wide range of musical background in both education and performance. He is currently enrolled in a Masters of Music Education program at the University of New Hampshire. His double bass performance experience covers all musical styles including jazz, concert and symphonic settings.
